We survived the weekend without Mom!

We survived the weekend without Mom! It's so weird without them. The house is too quiet. I keep thinking "where's Noah? is he getting into something?!" but then I remember and relax.

On Saturday, my dad went to a funeral in Koiwa, and stayed until 6:00 PM for the Halloween Party. Me and Tashi went on the train and met him there for the party. My dad was Rex Kwando, I was Napoleon Dynamite, and Tashi was Debb from the movie "Napoleon Dynamite". My mom took the camera with her to Utah, so we weren't able to take any pictures, but Maika took some pictures of us and I'll post those soon. Mana was a black cat, and Maika was dressed in a traditional Korean kimono. And guess what...
I WON THE WEIRDEST COSTUME AWARD!
I've never won a costume prize at a Halloween party before. I was so happy. Marjorie Itabashi won "scariest" (she was a witch), and one of the Yamamoto girls won "most creative" for her cheerleading costume, and another Yamamoto girl won "cutest" for her Snow White costume. We had turnk-or-treating and snacks and games - a cake walk (which Maika and Tashi both won a piece of cake while me and Mana didn't)and we had a mummy-making contest with toilet paper (me, Mana, and Maika wrapped Tashi up in toilet paper like a mummy)...we didn't win that one either.
But then we went home and watched "Suits on the Loose" it was pretty funny. But I didn't like the ending.

My dad over-did himself on Saturday, so he had to stay home from church on Sunday. The Kawaminamis drove me and Tashi to and from church . Our pianist and our chorister wasn't there for Sacrament meeting, so Mana was the chorister, and Harmony, and the two Yang kids each played a hymn. Nobody was there - the Vilburns, the Frees...and lots of other people. We had a missionary couple come and give talks. They were good talks, but Rikako and Kanoko fell asleep during the talks so Brother Murakami had Hanai go and wake them up. Interesting...
We stayed after church for seminary until 4 pm. 3 hours I tell you! But it's because our mutual conference is coming up on the 3rd of November. If we memorize all our master scriptures, we get a prize. So we memorized master scriptures for 2 hours. Tashi attended seminary too,so when we got home we were pooped and just had cereal for dinner. And we just laid on the couch for the rest of the evening doing nothing.

My mom's 10 weeks pregant today. That's what the baby looks like. It's starting to look more human and less alien-like. It's a little over an inch long (about 2.5 cm) and weighs less than quarter of an ounce (less than 7 grams). I want to hurry and find out if it's a boy or a girl!

Tomorrow's Halloween so I'll post lots of Halloween icons, okay?
