Long!

Gone into the 13th week! My mom's belly may soon be big enough to announce to the world that she's expecting, but the baby is still tiny. In fact, it's only about 3 inches long crown to rump - roughly the size of a jumbo shrimp - and weighs just about an ounce. Despite the small proportions, there's a fully formed baby inside my mom's womb now. Much more proportional than it was a few weeks ago, its head is now only about a third the size of its body. Its tiny, unique fingerprints are already in place. Its kidneys and urinary tract are functional, and it's starting to urinate out the amniotic fluid it's been swallowing. As my mom starts her second trimester, most of the baby's critical development will be completed, and the odds of miscarriage will drop considerably.

On Monday,I wanted to go to Daiei with Tashi, but my cold still wasn't better, sowe decided not to go. But I had to teach English for 2 hours that day, and I didn't know if I was going to make it. But I said a prayer, and I was fine! But after I came home, I felt so crappy I just rolled around. But my dad gave me a benadryl right before I went to sleep, and I slept for 11 hours! And when I woke up, Iwasn't congested any more! Yay Daddy! So I was like 90% better yesterday, but I didn't want to push it. So I stayed home all day - doing laundry, dishes, translating President Hinckley's letter (which was harder than I thought), trying to touch up a vintage pattern of my mom's on paint, but it was too hard and took me almost all day etc... I'm so glad yesterday was warm!

Today I plan to be productive!

Here's some posters I have up in my room of Miley:

Thank you for translating a letter from President Hinckley's secretary.

I'm glad that you get well!

You're welcome! I didn't do very much though...were you able to translate those parts that I couldn't?

Miley's mom looks kinda like she's in her own world.
