Welcome Home

Week 14
Head to bottom, the baby's 3 1/2 inches long - about the length of a lemon - and weighs about 1 1/2 ounces. Its body's growing faster than its head, which now sits upon a more well-defined neck. By the end of this week, its arms will have lengthened and will be in proportion to the rest of its body. (Her legs still have some growing to do, though.) It's starting to develop an ultra-fine, downy covering of hair all over its body (called lanugo). Its liver starts secreting bile this week, a sign that it's already functioning properly, and its spleen starts contributing to the production of red blood cells. It's also producing and discharging urine into the amniotic fluid, a normal process that it'll keep up until birth. My mom still can't feel the baby's movements, but its hands and feet (which are now half an inch long) are more flexible and active. Thanks to brain impulses, its little facial muscles are getting a workout as its squints, frowns, and grimaces. It can grasp now, too, and it may be able to suck its thumb.

These are all the places I've been to (living and just for a vacation). The only thing is, when you say you've been to the US, it says that you've been to Alaska and Hawaii, but I haven't. Just the mainland.
So, the US, Japan, China, Thailand, South Korea, Guam, Saipan, Bali Indonesia, and New Zealand.

WELCOME HOME

Mia, mommy, and Noah! They arrived home safely on Tuesday!!!!
YAY!!!!
