Golden Conference isn't a golden thought for me...

This has been my life for the past few days: packing, packing, packing, packing, packing to infinity and beyond! I'm sick and tired of it!!!! I'm not so tired of the packing as I am of "stuff". I have "stuff" trauma now. Everywhere I look, there's "stuff" to pack. Or is it even worth taking? Should I throw/give it away? That's all been running through my head lately. All our clocks are gone = forgetting to eat at mealtimes and go to bed at night...I'm a wreck right now.
Oh, and my dad's been working his tushy off compared to me. But the worst thing of all is, all the youth went to Golden Conference in Fukushima...I really wanted to go, but I couldn't leave my dad all alone to do the packing...Dad took me to go see Spiderman 3, we went and did karaoke, and I got to see the High School Musical concert on Disney Channel. I've been trying to convince myself that those were fun, but I keep thinking about all the fun the youth had at Golden Conference. I REALLY wanted to go...this would have been my last major church activity. Oh, and it doesn't help when I look at pictures of them having fun:
Oh, the woes of life. I'm in a small depression right now. Yes, I know I'm a drama QuEeN! Now that we have all this packing done, I wish I could go back in time and go to Golden Conference...
Please comfort me by lots of comments.

When I was your age, we had to work a lot harder. I was up at 4:30 every morning to milk the cows, feed the chickens, and haul hay. Then I had to go hunting for animals to eat for breakfast. Then I went to school to study, without recess, then came home at 6:00 pm to eat lunch. Then I did more chores, ate dinner, and went to bed at 1 am. And walking to school was dangerous because of the wild animals in the forest. One time I had to run from a bear and dropped my chalk on the way to school. so the teacher beat me with a pole because I had no chalk for my slate board. So I had to work out my lessons (advanced quantum mechanics) in the snow. I writing inished my thesis on string theory versus particle theory, but the sun came out and melted it. So the teacher beat me again with a pole. I still have kidney damage from that day.
But we were so excited when pencils and paper were invented. It was more exciting for us than the internet is for you.

And I'll give you a kidney if you need one...haha
