Torn Between Two Worlds

Well, my life is very complicated right now. Too much drama. I haven't had to feel emotion like this since 7th grade, before I was doing homeschool. High school is way better than junior high. But like my friends who did homeschool all their lives, they just started highschool this year too. It depresses them, and I know how they feel. Lots of stress going on here.
In September, Kortney and Sam will turn 18, and I'll turn 16. Big milestones. And there's homecoming a week after my birthday, and on Sam's 18th birthday. One girl in my stake who just turned 16 in June has already been asked to homecoming. I'm a little bit sutffed to the max right now. Now that school's started, I'm missing my friends from church in Japan. Not Japanese school, but my friends.

So I will dedicate a song to my friends in Japan:
I miss you,
I miss you smile
And I still shed a tear every once in a while
And even though it's different now
You're still here somehow
My heart won't let you go
And I need you to know
I miss you, sh-la-la-la
I miss you

I agree that high school is better than middle school. You have adjusted to the routines and changes from elementary, and the kids are way nicer and more mature. Plus lots of fun clubs and activities to get involved in. Enjoy it!!
