Yay! Yay! Yay! Today is the Hanabi-taikai in our city! Hanabi means fireworks in Japanese. So it's a...fireworks festival! With all the booths of food, games, the fireworks, wearing your yukata (a summer kimono)...IT'S SO FUN!
My quilt is coming along. I'll post another picture of it Sunday or Monday.
The picture is of my cousin, Hannah. She just turned 2 on June 1st. Isn't she cute? She's my mom's baby sister's oldest daughter. She's eating her late birthday cake because her dad was in Hawaii for business, and he just came back!
